Moving Picture Reprint Series publishes rare texts, pamphlets and ephemera from the earliest days of cinema in book form.  Each is supplemented with illustrations, notes and original research.

All volumes are filled with extremely rare materials scanned to high resolution TIF files.  Each can go from gentle retouching to major reconstruction.

The mission is to make forgotten areas of lost early cinema history available again for the first time in over a century.

Moving Picture Reprint Series is operated from Waterford, Michigan.

Gary, Indiana's first movie theatre opened on June 8, 1907.
